A Powerhouse Month of Educational Innovation: Wrapping Up Our June Erasmus Job Shadowing Projects in Córdoba!

If you are looking for inspiration regarding an Erasmus Job Shadowing Cordoba experience, June 2026 has been an absolutely unforgettable month here at Training Europe! We have had the immense privilege of hosting three separate, highly impactful Erasmus mobility projects. Educational leaders and specialized professionals from Slovakia, France, and Estonia traveled to sunny Spain to exchange best practices, observe new organizational methodologies, and foster cross-border collaborations.

By connecting European educators with leading Spanish schools and local businesses, these projects have bridged cultures and sparked incredible professional growth. Here is a look back at an extraordinary month of international teamwork.

1. Slovakia: Innovating in Digital Education & Inclusion

Four outstanding educators from Slovakia dived headfirst into the Spanish secondary education system during their tailored Erasmus Job Shadowing Cordoba program. Collaborating with two premier local high schools, they took home highly actionable insights:

  • At I.E.S. Averroes: The team explored digital education practices, observed interdisciplinary history lessons, participated in a creative student theatre workshop, and studied inclusive education strategies alongside the Special Educational Needs department.

  • At I.E.S. Fidiana: They shifted focus to technical innovation, observing lessons in robotics and computing. They also examined personalized, student-centered learning structures designed for diverse classrooms.

2. France: Mastering Administration through Erasmus Job Shadowing Cordoba

Representing a school in Paris, Sylvie engaged in a highly specialized, multi-sector administrative Erasmus Job Shadowing Cordoba mobility journey. Her itinerary allowed her to compare French and Spanish institutional workflows across four diverse environments:

  • Professio: Shadowed corporate HR and Accounting specialists to examine modern staff management, payroll, and corporate bookkeeping software.

  • IES Gran Capitán: Met with the school’s director, accountant, and Erasmus coordinator to study public educational procurement, invoice processing, and budget tracking.

  • Colegio La Salle Córdoba: Examined resource allocation, leadership decision-making, and structural budgeting operations within a prominent private educational setting.

  • Escuela de Arte Dionisio Ortiz: Gained a deep understanding of the unique administrative and resource challenges tied specifically to managing a specialized arts academy.

3. Estonia: Elevating Language Education & Classroom Engagement

From a school in Tallinn, educator Hannes Saarmets arrived in Spain to closely observe how the local system approaches compulsory secondary language education. This specific Erasmus Job Shadowing Cordoba placement allowed for an incredible exchange of language methodologies.

  • At I.E.S. San Álvaro: Hannes spent an intensive week conducting deep-dive observations across different age groups, from 1st to 4th ESO.

  • By monitoring multiple language classrooms, he was able to evaluate variations in student engagement, digital resource integration, and communicative assessment methods. He exchanged critical pedagogical notes with local faculty regarding how teachers successfully differentiate lessons to motivate diverse groups of learners.

Deep Cultural Roots: Beyond the Classroom

At Training Europe, we firmly believe that true professional growth goes hand-in-hand with authentic cultural immersion. Our June participants didn’t just work hard—they experienced the very best of Andalusian tradition:

  • Historic Landmarks: All delegations explored Córdoba’s breath-taking UNESCO World Heritage sites through guided tours, walking the iconic arches of the Mezquita-Catedral, the gardens of the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos, and the winding streets of the Jewish Quarter.

  • Traditional Flavors & Art: Our participants enjoyed local festivals and, for a true taste of southern Spain, experienced a passionate live Flamenco show accompanied by a traditional tapas dinner.

  • Heritage Preservation: A special visit to the majestic Palacio de Viana and its twelve courtyards offered our educators a masterclass in how cultural heritage links directly with local tourism development.

Reflecting on Impact

The continuous monitoring, evaluations, and farewell meetings carried out this month proved a soaring success. Every single participant noted substantial upgrades in their professional competences, a boosted capacity for inclusive and digital adaptations, and invaluable additions to their international networking circles.

«We remain deeply committed to fostering collaboration, innovation, and excellence in professional development through these initiatives,» says María López Fernández, Director of Training Europe. «With immense gratitude to our local host institutions and schools, we look forward to cooperating on more impactful projects that strengthen European education.»
